Six Belgian hospitals

Reimbursed respiratory telemonitoring across six Belgian hospitals

The challenge

Chronic respiratory care in Belgium is largely episodic. Follow-up between hospital visits is limited, adherence is inconsistent, and symptom monitoring is not standardized across institutions.

Clinicians have no longitudinal view of symptoms, activity, outcome measures and medication adherence in one place, and no capacity to detect deterioration proactively under staff shortages.

What we did

An end-to-end digital companion for chronic respiratory care, co-developed with Belgian hospitals: longitudinal monitoring of symptoms, breathlessness, activity, exacerbation signals, medication use and outcome measures, consolidated into clinical summaries available through the hospital record and regional health networks.

Smart flagging, including alerts on missing data, routes cases nurse-first and pulmonologist-second so early detection does not come at the cost of clinician overload.

Disease pathways are modular — COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis, transplant follow-up and oncology-related respiratory care.
